General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS)

1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTCS") apply to all sales concluded betweenBeautiful Things asbl, whose registered office is located at17 rue de l'hôpital, 1000 Brussels, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under the numberBE1013 428 284, VAT numberBE1013 428 284(hereinafter "the Organizer/Seller"), and any individual (hereinafter "the Client").

The GTCS exclusively concern:

  • the online sale oftickets for workshops, discussion circles, conferences, and other events(hereinafter "the event") organized by Beautiful Things asbl;

  • the sale ofgoods in a physical store..

Any registration for an event or any purchase implies full acceptance of these GTCS.

2. Nature of the events

The events offered by Beautiful Things asbl have aneducational, informative, awareness-raising, and entertainment purpose, particularly around sexuality, intimate well-being, and relationships.

They do not constitute a medical, therapeutic, or psychological act and do not replace a consultation with a health professional.

3. Information and availability

The descriptions of the events (content, date, duration, location, target audience) are presented in their description before each registration. However, slight modifications may occur if necessary (speaker, content, schedule), without altering the spirit.

The Organizer reserves the right to limit the number of participants in order to ensure the quality and safety of the exchanges.

4. Prices

Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included (VAT included).

The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of online registration.

No additional fees are applied when purchasing tickets for the workshops, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

5. Registration and payment for events

Registration for an event is done exclusively through the website.

Registration is considered asfirm and final upon receipt of full payment.

The accepted payment methods are those offered on the site at the time of purchase.

In case of non-payment or incomplete payment, the registration will not be validated.

6. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Economic Law Code, the right of withdrawaldoes not applyto the sale of services related to leisure activities to be provided on a specific date or period, such as workshops.

No refund can therefore be demanded after purchase, except in cases provided for in Article 7.

7. Cancellation and refund of events

7.1 Cancellation by the Client

Unless otherwise stated:

  • the purchased tickets areneither exchangeable nor refundable 48 hours before the event. ;

  • The Client may, however, transfer their ticket to another person, provided they inform the Organizer in advance.

7.2 Cancellation by the Organizer

Beautiful Things asbl reserves the right to cancel an event, particularly in cases of force majeure, unavailability of a speaker, or insufficient number of participants.

In this case, the Client will befully refundedthe amount paid, without any additional compensation being claimed.

8. Access and participation

The events are reserved for anadult audience (18 years and older), unless otherwise stated.

Any behavior deemed inappropriate, discriminatory, or harmful to the safety or respect of other participants may result in immediate exclusion, without refund.

9. Liability

Participation in the events is at the Client's own risk.

Beautiful Things asbl cannot be held responsible for indirect, immaterial, or consequential damages related to participation in an event.

In any case, the Organizer's liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant registration, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions.

10. Force majeure

Beautiful Things asbl cannot be held responsible for non-performance or delays resulting from a force majeure event as recognized by Belgian law.

11. Intellectual property

The content of the events (materials, documents, presentations, texts, images, logos) is protected by intellectual property rights.

Any reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written permission is prohibited.

12. Data Protection

Personal data collected during registration is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Client has the right to access, rectify, oppose, and delete their data by contacting the Organizer.

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These General Terms and Conditions are subject to Belgian law.

In case of a dispute, the courts of Brussels have jurisdiction, unless a mandatory provision protecting the consumer states otherwise.
