Pass the Sugar, Please is a roleplaying game about friends and strangers who meet for afternoon tea only to realize that they hooked up with someone else there at a secret sex and BDSM club the night before. Some pairs have been in a sexual relationship for sometime, while others have only met recently. Each character must convey a series of messages about their intimate experience to their partner without explicitly talking about it. To do this, players talk about the food and tea items as a metaphor for the sexual acts they participated in.

What is a role playing game? This type of game isn’t a competition. The playfulness is in finding whimsy and being dramatic, creating a story together with the other players. Your character can go trough a devastating hearthbreak, but you, the player is loving it. The goal is to portray a different archetype than yourself that is still connected to your own pleasures and desires.

Before the game starts we will workshop how to play the game itself, discuss what topics we are comfortable playing with and practice our characters together.

The game has premade character sheets with sexual secrets & pre-determined relationships.

The fun of the game is to lean into the akwardness and trying find and convey secret messages to your hidden partner.

The game is about sex, kink & fetish.

We talk about it but don't perform any explicit acts.

This game is for you if you like exploring roles, identities & characters you don't normally allow. If you want to explore fantasies without having to act in them. If you want to be silly and extra.

In practice:

• The workshop is open to everyone.
• The workshop is conducted only in English
• No nudity, you can dress comfortably and feel empowered. No explicitly sexual, kinky, or fetish attire.
• No sexual acts are allowed. Physical contact between participants is only within the limits of each person's consent.
• Make sure to have impeccable hygiene when you participate.
• Participants can arrive between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM. After 8:30 PM, no more entries will be possible. The workshop ends around 11:30 PM.
• No exercise is mandatory. You are free to refuse any practice at any time. Your limits are a priority.
• You are free to leave the workshop at any time. A quiet space will be available for you to isolate yourself if needed.
• Beautiful Things is a 100% sober space. No drugs or alcohol are allowed. Please also arrive at the workshop sober.

Regarding the price:

You freely choose the price that seems fair and accessible to your personal situation.

• The social price: A reduced rate more accessible for people with more modest means.
• The normal price: This is the average rate applied to our activities.
• The support price: This is a higher rate intended to support the non-profit organization for its subsistence and to develop its proposed activities.

Code of conduct

• No act or word of a racist, homophobic, transphobic, fatphobic, ableist, classist, or any other discriminatory nature is tolerated.
• No interaction without explicit consent is tolerated.
• No violent, verbal and/or physical behavior is tolerated.
• This workshop is not intended for romantic and/or sexual encounters.
• States under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not tolerated.
• No photos, videos, or recordings are allowed during the workshop. Confidentiality is required before, during, and after the workshop.

Any violation of this code of conduct may result in immediate exclusion without possible reimbursement. The workshop organizers reserve the right to assess the situation at the moment and make decisions they deem necessary for the integrity of everyone. If needed, a mediation procedure with the management of Beautiful Things is available after the event.

What you need to know

• You may be exposed to oral or visual descriptions of acts of sensuality/sexuality.
• Your play will be exposed to the gaze of other participants and that of the organizers.
• You may reach a state of sexual arousal and/or be exposed to that of other participants. However, any sexual interaction is prohibited.
