Polyamorous, queer, sex-positive speed dating

A speed dating event for pan/bi polyamorous individuals of all genders around sex-positive activities!

Are you looking to meet someone who aligns with your values and are tired of dating apps? Join us for this original speed dating event! Here, there are no tables. A cozy and confidential setting to meet around the values of inclusivity, consent, and exploration.

Participants will be able to explore their connections through original activities to experience meeting in a different way. 

On the menu:

• Introduction circle and icebreaker
• Cozy discussions around naughty questions
• Silent dance. Connect through movement!
• Light and playful playfight
• Closing circle

This speed dating event is only for individuals who identify as polyamorous and/or in ethical non-monogamous relationships, across a spectrum of pansexual and/or bisexual orientations. All genders are welcome. No gender balancing will be done during registration.

You are free to come as a couple; however, the event is dedicated to solo dating. The speed dating is not intended to find a unicorn for couples.

Throughout the event, the application of consent will be in effect. The organizers will ensure everything runs smoothly and will be available for any assistance.

In practice:

• You can plan several outfits: for calm discussions and for more physical exercises. No nudity is expected, either full or partial.
• No sexual acts are allowed. Physical contact between participants is permitted within the limits of each person's consent.
• Participants can arrive between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM. After 9:15 PM, no more entries will be allowed. The workshop ends around midnight.
• No exercise is mandatory. You are free to refuse any practice at any time. Your limits are a priority.
• You are free to leave the event at any time. A quiet space will be available for you to isolate yourself if needed.
• Beautiful Things is a 100% sober space. No drugs or alcohol are allowed. Please also arrive at the workshop sober.

Regarding the price:

You freely choose the price that seems fair and accessible to your personal situation.

• Social price: A reduced rate more accessible for people with modest means.
• Normal price: This is the average rate applied to our activities.
• Support price: This is a higher rate intended to support the non-profit organization for its sustainability and to develop its offered activities.

Code of conduct

• No acts or words of a racist, homophobic, transphobic, fatphobic, ableist, classist, or any other discriminatory nature are tolerated.
• No interaction without explicit consent is tolerated.
• No violent behavior, verbal and/or physical, is tolerated.
• States under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not tolerated.
• No photos, videos, or recordings are allowed during the event. Confidentiality is required before, during, and after the workshop.

Any violation of this code of conduct may result in immediate expulsion without the possibility of a refund. The workshop organizers reserve the right to assess the situation at the moment and make decisions they deem necessary for the integrity of everyone. If needed, a mediation procedure with the management of Beautiful Things is available after the event.
