The Ace/Asexual Munch is a social event for Ace/Asexual people to come together and share great moments over tea, board games, and discussions. The goal is to gather in a safe space dedicated solely to valuing the Ace identity and supporting each other.
The event is strictly reserved for individuals identifying as Ace/Asexual.
Soft drinks and snacks will be available throughout. We will provide games, but you can also bring your own to share!
In practice:
- The munch is open to everyone regardless of your gender, orientation, ethnicity, social class, etc.
- There is a spiral staircase to access the venue. If you have specific needs, the staff at Beautiful Things will do their best to accommodate you. The Munch may also take place in the shop on the ground floor for better accessibility.
- The event is completely sober. No alcohol or drugs are allowed.
Code of conduct
- No acts or words of a racist, homophobic, transphobic, fatphobic, ableist, classist, or any other discriminatory nature are tolerated.
- No interaction without explicit consent is tolerated.
- No violent behavior, verbal and/or physical, is tolerated.
- This event is not intended for romantic and/or sexual encounters.
- States under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not tolerated.
- No photos, videos, or recordings are allowed during the event. Confidentiality is essential before, during, and after the event.
Any violation of this code of conduct will result in immediate exclusion. The workshop organizers reserve the right to assess the situation at the moment and make decisions they deem necessary for the integrity of everyone. If needed, a mediation procedure with the management of Beautiful Things is available after the event.
